Castle Street on a rainy night

Another little study in an loose impressionistic style this time a rainy night on Castle street in the historic quarter of the city. The impressive Carlisle Castle sits is just peeping out of the murk and rain.I was attempting to combine a couple of Impressionist styles in this painting in particular trying bring a little of Monet into my rain filled sky.
